Peasants in Another Point of View

When you hear the word peasant, you usually go...lower class, bottom of the food chain, servant to some master..yada yada yada. Who would want that right? Guess what, peasant look is now in! Think about it, you'd be sporting the lowly, humble look which suggests a very simple living and that's really appealing to a lot of people nowadays as things get really complex and complicated everywhere you look. Not to get all commentary on this but simple is beautiful.

That's why choosing the role of "the peasant" in a costume party could be a refreshing alternative to the typical royal look of Kings and Queens or the courageous image being portrayed by the Loyal Knight. As the peasant, you go for the Underdog role! They'll even be rooting for you.

Search the internet for a wide variety of designs inspired by the great medieval times and who knows, maybe you too might be inspired to make your own unique interpretation of a peasant costume. Just make sure that to keep in character you need to keep it simple!
