Meditation
We just need to take the time to do it. Meditating is simply getting still and allowing our mind to become blank. Sure at first, your mind will want to wonder off into multiple directions. Just quietly tell it to stop and be still. I like to use the phrase "peace-be still," It brings my mind back into focus and quite once more.
That is the phrase Jesus used when he and some of the disciples were on a boat. The sea began to toss the boat they were in. Jesus had gone to sleep. The disciples became afraid and woke Jesus. Asking him to calm the raging sea. Jesus became angry with the disciples because they, too, had the ability to calm the sea, They did not have the faith-they did not believe in themselves. But Jesus stepped on deck and told the stormy sea PEACE-BE STILL. If those powerful words can calm the movement of the sea, they can certainly calm your active mind.
Once your mind is quite, receive the information that is developing within you. It is different from the noise of your wondering mind. It comes from a much deeper place and it is pure love. You are experiencing meditation.

Dear KS,
Yes, Squidoo gets a new name with my new life!!
I adored what you wrote, especially:
"It is different from the noise of your wondering mind. It comes from a much deeper place and it is pure love"....well, I just started crying and I know it's good for me.
It is simply an emotion. Looking deeper, it was someone missing.
Our Lord.
<3 Gentle Hugs,
KS

Wendy thank you so much for the five stars. I am in total agreement with you. Once you learn how to meditate, you know that you can experience it any where at any time. It is just a simple process of quieting the mind. Have a great day.

I started meditating a few years ago. At first I got hung up in "how" to meditate. Then one day when I was taking a walk and listening to God. It was then that I realized that there are different ways to meditate. It is about knowing that all of the answers are within us. Just slow down the chatter in your brain and you will hear. It is really amazing. And you are right. It is pure love. Wonderful lens....5 stars.
