I'm making this page about mediumship to help individuals to have a clearer understanding of what a medium is.
Many have different opinions of what a medium is; therefore, I feel it is necessary to clarify what a medium is. Mediums are links between the world that we live in and the spirit world. They are ordinary people who have everyday jobs and families. We all have the gifts; however, it is one's choice to open their gifts or not.
The following is a brief overview of what a mental mediumship is:
Clairvoyance. A person who is Clairvoyant can see spirits that may be seen by the physical eyes or in their minds eye. When seen through the minds eye the spirit may come in a form of a picture or may appear as if one is watching television.
Clairaudience. The person hears the spirits communicating with them through voices talking to them through their physical ears. Mediums may also experience voices in their head or thoughts that run through their mind.
Clairsentience. The person will sense a spirits presence usually through feelings that they have such as being touched, breezes that pass them, feeling cold, smell of fragrances, or feeling as though there are cobwebs on the face.
The messages that are received through mental mediumship are then communicated to the individual. There are other ways that mediums receive communication from the Spirit world; however, we will not be discussing them here.
If one decides to develop his or her abilities, the benefits are as follows:
1. Perceiving truth and higher realities.
2. Very good and precise with instincts of knowing.
3. Insight that is higher and beyond the mind and common sense.
4. Predicting incoming needs.
5. Improving visionary.
6. Sensitivity to the energy bodies.
7. Improved decision making.
8. Improved problem-solving skills.
9. Channeling higher ideas to be of service and for oneself.
