Medusa's story
Medusa was once a very beautiful maiden who lived far in the north where the sun never shone. Curious, she asked Goddess Athena permission to visit south to be able to see the sun. But Athena did not allow. Medusa got angry and claimed that Athena hadn't given her permission because she was jealous of her beauty. So, Athena was angered and punished her by turning her hair into snakes and cursing her by making her so ugly that who ever looks at her eyes would turn into stone.

- I always wanted to be dressed as Medusa in the past but could not find the snake hat. Now that I have decided to be Nefertiti, I see a lot of Medusa costumes available.
