Comparison between best mega zoom cameras

Mega zoom camera is a camera with optical zoom size above 30x. They are also called super zoom camera or bridge camera. Why the name is bridge camera is used? Because this type of camera bridge the gap between compact digital camera and digital SLR camera. These cameras have non-changeable lens but can be used for zooming longer distance (23mm - 810mm). So that it is easy to carry when compared to the DSLR with different lenses. These cameras are good enough for learning photography and at the same time you can capture some great moments with good image quality.

I did a hands on review of all these just before the HS30 upgrade appeared and was about to purchase the Lumix FZ150. However the Fuji for usability i.e. manual zoom, evf quality, wide angle (it's probably nearer 22mm) comes out tops. I had owned an HS20 - the new model is much faster and with the improvements now wins hands down!

For amateur photographers who don't need RAW, I think the best choice is Canon SX40 HS which has quiet Ultra Sonic Motor when zooming while filming and also hot shoe for TTL dedicated Canon flash, but the near full compatible flashes are also available a lot.

I really love the Sony HX100V, Because its image quality is better and it quickly fixes the focus on the target.
