When he's not fighting bad guys in the streets of Barksdale, MegaDog spends his time as a cocker spaniel named Joseph A. Cocker.He enjoys listening to music, chasing squirrels, eating bacon, rummaging through trash cans, and making fun of cats.
But when trouble creeps into town, he becomes a funky canine crimefighter! He has super strength and super speed. His body is indestructable, capable of withstanding explosions, weapons, and germs. His super suit is made of an intelligent fiber that obeys his commands. For example, if he says, "Blue." Shoomp! The suit turns blue. Pretty cool, huh?
He only has one weakness ... he's ears over paws in love with the beautiful blond cocker spaniel next door, Betty.
With his loyal partner, Baywolf, at his side, MegaDog speeds into the face of danger and growls his motto, "Let's get funky."
Meet Baywolf
Elwood is a goofy mutt. A mixture of five or six breeds, his eyes are crossed, his ears aren't straight, his nose is crooked, his fur is a multi-colored mess, and he wasn't the brightest pup in the litter. In other words, he's a total dorkhound.But after he ate huge amounts of Power Packed Paws, a dog food laced with plutonium, Elwood's DNA changed, giving him the ability to turn into a massive black and white wolf.
Tall and sleek, Baywolf has retractable claws and a hip-hop attitude. He wears black sunglasses that are equipped with x-ray vision, heat sensors, and night vision. His full-length black leather coat holds paw grenades, pawcuffs, shark repellant, pepper spray, a peanut butter sandwich, and an American Express Card.
Baywolf is the definition of a bad dog!

My inspiration
Many people have asked me how I came up with MegaDog. Well, I simply combined two things that I really like.I'm a huge fan of superheros. Ever since I was a kid, I've loved Batman, Superman, X-Men, Space Ghost, and all the other great characters from DC Comics and Marvel.
I'm also a dog lover. For almost 12 years, I had the pleasure of living with the best dog in the whole world, my buddy, Joe. He was my best friend. Through the good times and the bad, he was always there for me. I miss him so much.
After he passed away from old age a few years ago, I promised myself that I would find a way to keep Joe's memory alive. I made him a superhero so I will always have him with me.
Princess Gracie
About a year and a half ago, we decided to get a puppy.After searching thoughout the Mid-Atlantic area, we found a fantastic golden retriever breeder in Broadway, Virginia called Church Mountain Kennel.
Goldens are very smart, athletic, and great with kids. If you have room for a golden to run, I highly recommend the breed.
A fuzzy ball of energy picked us to be her family and we became the proud parents of Gracie. She's a big, loveable hug monster.
As you can see, Gracie loves to read, but she has trouble turning the pages because she doesn't have thumbs.
