Megan Fox Diet and Weight

Ok, we all know Megan Fox is super hot, right? This is probably universally accepted by men and women (certainly men). Her acting ability - well, that's another issue. So how does she maintain her body? Well, it isn't as difficult as you might think. It is basically a strategic diet and workout that keeps here in tip top shape for her roles. Check out the trailer for Transformer's 2 below. Megan Fox's height and weight for this role was 5'6" and 114 pounds. Not bad for a girl who has to get her personal trainer to come to her because she can't motivate herself to go workout.

Transformers 2 Diet and Workout

type=textLet's begin with Megan Fox's diet. She follows a clean diet - avoiding processed sugars and whole grains. She gets her carbs from fruits and vegetables. How does this help? Well, these types of carbohydrates are not calorically dense and are easily digested by the body. For her protein, she consumes lean proteins like eggs, fish, lean meats, and nuts. She also reportedly eats almonds throughout the day as a source of good fat. Finally, her secret (and controversial) weapon is cider vinegar, which acts to suppress appetite and detoxify the body.

Next, let's consider Megan Fox's workout. She uses bodyweight circuit training with particular emphasis on core work, which I know to be highly effective in burning fat. What this means is that she will go through a particular set of exercises with minimal rest in between. After completing 3-5 exercises, she rests for 1-2 minutes and repeats. The exercises she focused on include the plank, hanging leg raises, oblique crunches, and lying leg raises. Do you get the idea that her workout was core-focused? You can check out more about this type of workout in the video below.

Megan Fox Cardio

Megan would follow this workout up with cardio, usually on the stationary bike. She performed interval training, which is basically a period of high-intensity followed by a slightly longer period of lower intensity. This is the exact type of cardio I recommend in my book, Lose Your Love Handles for Good, which you can get for free by clicking here. An example of this would be to hop on the stationary bike and pedal for 2 minutes at a medium pace, then go for 1 minute at a sprint pace. Repeat this for four rounds and then cool down for 8-10 minutes. The idea behind this type of training is that at the higher intensities, your body burns more total calories. At the lower intensities, your body burns a higher percentage of fat for fuel.
As a certified personal trainer, one thing I always recommend to clients wanting to get lean and fit is to get on an exercise and eating program. I've seen too many people go into a gym and just hop on the treadmill and start exercising, only to not get results. The way to get fast results is to get on a proven program. If you are interested in a program that will help you get a body like Megan Fox, I highly recommend checking out a program called Visual Impact for Women. This program was developed by 20-year fitness consultant Rusty Moore. It is specifically designed for women, and will help you achieve a slim, toned, sexy physique without bulking up. Check it out by clicking Visual Impact for Women or you can click below to check out a free video on the program. I highly recommend checking it out.
