How Much Fun Can Your Child Have With Melissa and Doug Floor Puzzles?
Melissa and Doug floor puzzles are plenty of fun, that is for sure! I still remember how fond my sons were of jigsaw puzzles, particularly the giant ones that they worked on the floor. We did not have the pleasure of owning any Melissa and Doug floor puzzles but we did own two large floor puzzles -- one that was an underwater scene and one that was a space ship. They worked these puzzles, over and over and over again.
I am not sure what it is but there is simply something special about floor puzzles. If your child does not already have one, then he or she should. When I was doing my research for this page, I was pleasantly surprised at the cost of floor puzzles. They seem to be fairly priced to me.

- Some kids just love big things and these puzzles are very big. I like to add words to the back of the pieces to add more literacy to the environment. For example on the firetruck, I might write the word firetruck to each piece. It will help when the pieces get mixed up and when the children want to write about firetrucks they will know where to go to find it.
