- I had the Melissa & Doug chunky basic shape puzzle for two years in my classroom. That's two years of daily use by 3 to 6 year olds, and they never fell apart! (Sadly, they were lost when our school flooded and haven't been replaced yet) These things are built to LAST. Thanks for writing about one of my favorite toy companies!

- My 9 month old thinks wooden puzzles are great. But after a few tries at getting the pieces in place, he gets fed up and just tries to eat them.
