The parade was led by two of Bloomfield's finest on motorcycles.
Memorial Day 2011 started out with a heavy downpour of rain in the early morning. The parade was scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. and fortunately the rain stopped and the sun came through. As always, the townsfolk came out in droves to cheer and honor the brave men and women who served our country.

Members of the congregation of the Bloomfield Presbyterian Church on the Green marched proudly carrying their banner and flags. The church was built in 1797! It's one of the oldest buildings in town.

- Great parade service! I haven't really seen many parades or services at all other than what's shown on television. It's great that small towns are continuing the tradition of keeping military members in their hearts.
