There Are Many Other Uses and Ideas That You Get With the Product

We made our Colors Scrapbook by organizing pictures from a vacation we took to the Caribbean.

I was amazed that my kids chose flowers and lizards over so many other things. Of course, the lizards and tropical flowers were something they hadn't seen before. I wasn't surprised at all that the picture they chose for pink was one of them wearing their cute pink swimsuits.

This was our first scrapbook together. My kids were younger then so I would choose 3-5 pictures for each color and then let them choose which one to put on the page.

We made the Number Scrapbook with pictues we took on a hike in the mountains.

We started with the number one and thought we'd end at ten, but we had so many great pictures from the hike that we were able to go even higher. We sat down together and scavenged through our pictures looking for something to put on the 1 page. For number one the girls found a squirrel eating a nut, so we decided that one squirrel eating one nut was a good picture to add to the Number 1 page. We also added a picture of our family sitting on the same rock the squirrel was on. The view was amazing.

So, we talked about the number one, my 4 and 2 year old girls had to find a picture that matched, and then we giggled as we remembered how cute and funny those pesky squirrels were. At the end of the numbers scrapbook we decided we wanted to go on that hike again with Grandma (the person who did that hike with us).

For our Opposites Scrapbook we decided that we wanted to focus the entire Scrapbook on dinosaurs.

For this one we had to go through the clip art and find photographs and descriptions on the internet so that we could get some good pictures.

You may notice that our Small page has a triceratops on it. We laughed about how silly it seemed to put such a big creature on a page that said Small on it.

We also decided that we want to take a trip to the musuem where we can learn more about dinosaurs and get some real photographs of our own.

So you can see that we discussed many opposites in relation to dinosaurs, a topic their cousin got them hooked on. At the end of our scrapbook we also have pictures of what a dinosaur looks like in motion, what it looks like during the ice age (stiff, frozen and still) and what it looks like as a fossil. This is also something they got from their cousin.

Since we decided to go to the museum, this scrapbook isn't done and we can easily go back and change the pictures later.

For the Memory Cards we took pictures of all of the cousins in our families and added them to the pre-made cards. It was so much fun to hear the girls talk with one another about their memories hanging out with their cousins.

For Christmas I'll get them laminated at Office Max so that they'll be kid-proofed (this also works great with the flashcards because kids can write and erase on laminated surfaces so they can practice their writing).

The Calendar is so easy because all you have to do is add pictures to already prepared pages. We also like to personalize the actual dates with pictures and information, like holidays, birthdays, etc.

Once everything is added it is so easy to get your calendar bound at a place like Office Max or Office Depot.

And the Year by Year Scrapbooks are really cool. Mine are all incomplete because my kids are so young, but it's fun each year to add a new picture and look back at the previous years pictures. You really can watch your kids grow through school, holidays, and birthdays in one simple book.

The example you see is of my daughter as a Spider for Halloween when she was a one year old and as a Princess for Halloween when she was two.
