Memories of childhood, schooling, military service
The author's look back at his life. He describes his first memories during the 2nd World War in the Cotswolds, England and then at prep and boarding school. Later there is military service with the Black Watch in Scotland, Berlin and Cyprus followed by family life in the Bahamas.

It occured to me some time ago that my brother and sister and I are the last of our generation. I am also the only one to use a computer, internet and to blog. So part of my objective with this lens and my blog is to leave part of the family history for future generations.
