I have a firm orthopedic mattress that i bought since i dont really like fluffy mattresses... after a few nights i decided that it was a bit too firm so i started looking at what i could add to it so it could be a little more cushy. I dont like feather beds because i just dont like waking up to a cloud of feathers flying around me, and fiber beds just stop working after a while (I used to own one). So i started looking at foam toppers. For the money, i thought this would be pretty decent.

What a surprise!!! I never thought it would feel so good. i just woke up from one of my most relaxing nights ever... and i didnt even have to drink tea or wine to sleep that well. I have fallen in LOVE!.. I can't recommend this item enough... I'd give it 10 stars if i could. This memory foam mattress pad has been great for us. We purchased it as a gift to ourselves during Christmas. I would say that every night the pad get more and more comfortable to sleep on. The only problem that we have encountered is that it tends to slide down the bed a little bit so we have to pull it up a few inches once a week. To me that is not a big deal considering how much better our sleep has been. As far as what people were saying about the smell.....I didn't notice any smell when we opened the box the mattress pad came in. There has been no smell from day one so I don't know if we just got lucky or people are kind of over reacting. I would definitely purchase another pad from this company again.

We sleep on an old mattress given to us by relatives. (We're young and broke.) Buying all new, super comfortable mattresses would've been out of the question so 11 months ago when we got our tax money, we decided to get a memory foam mattress topper. Some were astronomically expensive, like the "legit" memory foam toppers. This Visco2 topper may not be "real" memory foam but it feels similar enough for me! It's VERY comfortable. We both worked 12 hour shifts and would come home exhausted. I constantly had mild lower back pain that would wake me up at night and I would have to constantly reposition to stay comfortable. Our old mattress had our pressure points bored into it. When this topper arrived, we opened it up and aired it out outside so it could regain shape and not smell (like some reviewers say it does.) When it was about the proper shape, we couldn't wait and it took both of us to pull this inside to our room. (It's heavy!) We topped our mattress, put the sheet back on and laid on it. It was VERY comfortable. But nothing was as good as that first night's sleep on it. I had NO back pain! To this day I have none at night. (I'm positive this pain occurred primarily because of our old, jangus mattress.) It has worn out a little over time but it still feels very comfortable and doesn't let us have a moment of pressure point pain. A good rule is to flip the topper every few months. I didn't find this topper to be especially weird smelling at all (I didn't mind that factory smell at first) nor has it been too hot for us. (And I'm one hot-natured girl.) It fit our queen mattress perfectly. Nothing wrong with this product at all.
