Lots of great products and a helpful list of what's normal and what's not. I lost two of my grandparents to Alzheimer's.

There is a strong case put forward that 'aspartame' the poison put in to diet products as an alternative sweetener is a root cause of mental diseases commonly found today but check out the science first. It is compelling! A powerful documentary in my Health Lens.

Thanks so much for visiting Runt Farm Series. Wonderful lens on this all-too-common disease; thank you. You might be interested to know about Olivia Hoblitzelle's award-winning book, The Majesty of Your Loving: A Couple's Journey through Alzheimer's (coming soon from Tarcher/Penguin). I worked with Olivia while the book was coming out, and her blog "Journey through Alzeheimer's" is very good, too.

Hi Nina. Thank you for sharing about this dreaded and highly prevalent disease. Alzheimer's and Dementia are ravaging. I know from experience over the past 4-5 years. There's a lot that's encouraging on the preventive and early therapy fronts now - nutritionally based, such as Lewis Logan's lens on galantamine, and others. Mama is too advanced, but it's not too late for all of us.

For those caring for a loved one who is suffering, we need help, too - which is why I wrote my lens The Caregiver and Hubpage on Caregiver Burnout. I hope these resources will help.

Thanks for you kind comments on my lens, too. I'm a FAN of yours and give you 5* and favs!
    ~ Margaret

Thanks for the recommendations. They are especially useful as you have been in the trenches as a caregiver which makes you more than qualified to publish your thoughts.

Please click here to see how galantamine really changed my life to improve memory problems.

Hi Nina, Thank you for this lens. We both have this in common. You have made one terrific lens here, 5 stars, and it should be rated big time! This needs to be discussed, as it is diagnosed every 75 seconds. A bug thumbs up to you! Kathie
