If I only had a brain...........................

I'm a boomer.  Big time boomer, with a big time decade-spanning  birthday this year.  Yep, the big 50..

And, I find that each year, my memory gets a little fuzzier.  Long term memory okay; short term memory sometimes needs a little boost.  For example, I am standing in the kitchen not remembering who I'm there.  Or, I'm in the grocery store buying everything BUT the very item that sent me there.

Does this happen to you?

This lens is devoted to tools that are available for improving your memory.   I only hope that I remember how to get to back here............

A little comic relief

There are times when I can hardly believe that I am actually going to be a senior citizen. Rather than fall into a deep dark hole of depression, I decided to investigate the humor of aging.

Did you know that there are websites devoted to this subject?
AATH - Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor

Did you know that there are website devoted to aging boomers who want to shop for stuff that will announce to the world that they are getting old? C-Boom.........where the cool boomers shop

And, this is my absolute favorite. Did you know that there is a website that lists popular songs of our "generation" with updated lyrics that reflect the aging of our "generation"? Aging with Humor

And if that isn't enough, there's even a webring, where you can go and commiserate with others the humor of aging.
Baby Boomers Web Ring

Enough, I'm off to buy stock in companies that produce incontinence supplies and hearing aids.

I love your 'stuff' here. Being a similar vintage, like to ride bikes, and maybe a lawyer someday if I can get my memory to work before exams, these lenses are a light in the dark. Thanks.

About Her-Motorcycle

Welcome to my lens(es).  I've developed a bit of an addiction to Squidoo, probably because I'm addicted to lists and love to research stuff.  In the beginning, my lenses were devoted to topics that I know a lot about, particularly knitting, motorcycles  and dachshunds.  That should keep me busy for a while...........

When I'm not making lists, I'm an attorney.  Making lists is much more fun.

I also blog:  Knitting on Trial

and have a new website:  Her-Motorcycle.com
