Menopause Weight Gain - Week 1 - Improving Your Breakfast To Start Loosing those KG's
Step By Step Easy no FUSS Guide To Change Your Breakfast
Ok1/ You need to go and buy a diary, then we will make a long - term goal over either 4-6-12 months be realistic, then we shall break it down into weekly goals. Write all this in the diary. For the first week we shall focus on breakfast. If you normally have
1. 2 pieces of white bread.
2. 1 table S butter
3. A sugary spread.
4. Coffee. or tea with 2 Tea spoons sugar, milk
LETS change a few things
1. Have 2 pieces or brown. or black unprocessed bread.
2. A half T able S butter or Philadelphia light cream cheese.
3. Change the spread to Vegemite, or best of all avocado or banana.
4. Coffee, or tea preferably green for both, 1 sugar, or none, light milk or none. Don't worry the milk will get introduced back in later on.
Do this for 3 days then cut 1 slice of toast out and add 1 egg, or a piece of fruit do this for 3 days, then on the last day I want you to do something else
1. First thing in the morning when you wake have a glass of water with a half of a lemon squeezed into it, if you can't tolerate lemon just have water, do this half hour before eating, take your shower in between.
Then have your piece of fruit, or egg wait 15 minutes then followed by toast, NEVER eat and drink fluids at the same time, it leads into a leaky gut, "another article"
The reason I am stretching you breakfast out is 2 things, you tend to fill up quicker when you eat slower, when you eat over a long period of time and not in 1 hit you keep your energy level higher which burns more calories.

Instead of having1. 2 sandwiches
2. Coffee, or tea all together.
I want you to eat 1 sandwich 1-2 hours before the other one . or replace 1 with a piece of fruit,p and a salad.
Do this for 3 days. and then change
1.Instaed of the 2nd sandwich change it to a low-fat smoothie with 1 banana , hand full of berries, frozen is fine and 1 table Sp of protein powder.
Make sure every thing you eat has a half hour interval in between, we are trying to drag out all meals so that you are basically eating 6 small, but continuous meals all day. And much healthier 1's
Week 3 Repeat the process, if you normally have fried meat we are first changing it to grilled, or you can BBQ with a spray of oil.
If your eating baked veggies they need to be sprayed instead or sitting in oil. Add herbs and spices for flavour, OR have boiled and add a salad.
Do this for 3 days then
1. Change the size of the piece of meat to half, if it is red change it to white 3 times a week, fish, pork and chicken very lean though.
2. Add a salad and 3 to 4 veggies.
3. Have the salad half hour before the main, spreading it out will stop the snacking in-between.
Handy hints.
1. Eat sml portions 6 times a day
2. Stop baking and frying, use oil sprays and grilling.
3. Use a cut of meat that is lean
4. Don't eat after 7 pm
5.Don't have your pasta's or potato's at night, have them in the day
6.Eat lots of high protein food and snacks.
7. Eat as much salad and veggies as you can
8. Drink 1 glass of water half hour before meals
Ladies by end of week 4 you will not only look GREAT you will be a sight healthier and happier. You won't have starved at all, in - fact you will have increased your food intake, lowered your cholesterol, and strengthened your bones.The beauty of it is you would have LOST weight woo hoo.
Seriously every bit of change helps, the slower it is done the less you realize that you are changing things. Unfortunately there will be many other menopause symptoms you WILL have to deal with.
