Ampallang and Apadravya

An Ampallang refers to a barbell pierced so that it runs horizontally thorugh the head of the penis.

An Apadryvya is a similar piercing, but this one runs vertically though the penis head.

Both piercings intersect with the urethra and it should be noted that most men who have these piercings find it much tidier to sit down to urinate for the rest of their lives.

These piercings are placed through the ridge of the head of the penis. Most often these are done in pairs for symmetry and barbell jewelry is worn. This can be a very difficult piercing to endure given how sensitive this area is and avoiding sexual activity during healing is often necessary.

Foreskin

The name for any piercing in the foreskin. Obviously, only uncircumcised men can have these piercings.

These don't really provide that much in the way of direct sexual stimulation and men with foreskins debate if the piercings seem to get in the way of retracting the foreskin or not.

Frenum

This piercing is located on the shaft of the penis, and is placed perpendicular to the shaft just below the head of the penis. A ring or barbell can be worn in this piercing. Some men who wear a ring in this piercing size the inside diameter so that the ring can be flipped to encircle the head of the penis as well.

Guiche

The Guiche has origins in Southesat Asia and is a piercing made through the perineum, just between the testicles and the anus. Often placement is aligned to be with the more sensitive part of this area.

This piercing aligns with the true location of the first chakra referred to in Eastern religions.

Hafada

This traditional name has Middle Eastern origins, and refers to piercings placed in the loose skin on the sides of the testicular sack. Unsubstantiated stories are that these piercings evolved as a means to insure that the testicles would stay descended.

Often, they are just called scrotal piercings.

Prince Albert

The Prince Albert is a male genital piercing that goes through the shaft, just under the head, going through and exiting via the urethra. Supposedly this piercing was named after the husband of Queen Victoria, Prince Albert. There seem to be a lot of stories that he had one of these piercings, but at the same time, there really isn't any definitive proof.

This is one of the more popular men's body piercings.

The name sometimes given to a "reverse" Prince Albert is a "Cleopatra." The placement is similar to a PA, but done so as to align over the top of the penis.

hi there, i learned on the net, plenty of info and pics and videos. find a piercer who does genital piercings, dont hang about just go for it! wish i had my PA months before i actually did.you will find it quite adictive, only had my PA 5 weeks, am having a frenum and ladder tomorrow. hope you go for it, regards, ian.
