Do You Know What Skin Type You Have?
Men's Skin Type
If your skin doesn't get too dry or too oily, then you most likely have normal skin.
Pimples are rare and pores are small. Normal skin has an even tone, smooth and firm. If this is you then... Congratulations!
You've got it easy as far as skin care goes. All you have to do is use some daily cleansing moisturizer on your face and you're done.
Oily Skin Man
When a guy has oily skin, the skin is usually thicker and firmer than others.
Your pores can me medium to large sized which causes them to get filled up with "blackheads" or blemishes.
So if you glow like the morning sun, then get some man skin care products designed for oily skin and get rid of the greasy stuff on your face.
Men skin care products for oily skin is usually oil free, so make sure you get something like that and not only for your face but for your body too!
And do not get close to body moisturizers or cheap soaps.
Dry Skin Man
Dashing through the snow, on a one-horse open sleigh isn't your favorite pass time is it?
If you have dry skin then your skin tends to feel tight and by the constant amount of flakes you can dust of your face it's always snowing around you.
Dry skin can get irritated very easily. Use products for dry skin but if you have a severe problem going on see a dermatologist.
Sensitive Skin Man
Most men know when they have sensitive skin. Your skin punishes you for being out in the sun and wind.
Cheap shaving creams, perfumes, alcohol based products and such causes sever skin reactions, sting and itchy feeling... torture.
If this is you then make sure you choose your skin care products carefully.
When you have use gels instead of creams. Then put on some aftershave balm with a bit of sun protection.
Use glycerin soap, no fragrance type soaps. If any redness occurs after using a product stop using it and move on to the next, don't worry the chosen one will come along sooner or later.
Combination Skin Man
This is when you have a combo of two types on your face. Some people usually refer to it as having a T zone (forehead, nose and chin) and the part out of the T zone are the cheeks and eye area.
Your T zone can be dry and have greasy cheeks and eye areas or vice versa. So the solution here is simple, use what is needed for the area.
If you T zone is greasy use skin care products for greasy skin in that area and so on.

Will Men Wear Makeup Eventually?
male cosmetics
Will men wear makeup eventually? Who knows. Years ago did we think we would piercing our ears? Coloring our hair? Waxing our eyebrows? No, but thousands of men all over the world already are.Is makeup or male cosmetics only for metrosexuales? Well, in part yes. Anyone can use it, but metrosexual men are the majority who would use this product. A metrosexual, or urban male, is defined as a man that has a strong aesthetic sense and spends a great amount of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle. Does this make you more girlish? Not at all, metrosexuals actually get more attention from the ladies. Having a clean, modern appearance is attractive to the opposite sex.
But the truth is that sexuality has become irrelevant when it comes to male cosmetics. No matter what there sexual interest are, men have begun to care more about there appearance and of course major cosmetic companies are right behind them.
Well-known cosmetic empires along with the smaller, up and comers are introducing skin care, fragrance and even makeup product lines targeted to men. Two cosmetic giants have added products to their lines such as concealers or "correctors," known to men as "eye treatments" or "serums" to make them sound a bit manlier.
One major manufacturer unabashedly launched a men's line complete with eyeliner concealer and bronzer. Industry experts say they are doing well in the entertainment industry, with actors and models buying up foundation, concealer and powder for shaving nicks and shine. Eyeliner is ultra hip with the younger club crowd.
Major contributors to the boom in sales of men's grooming products include razors, hair gels, body washes and deodorants. Other popular purchases include fragrances and body sprays. Because men have also become concerned about their skin and the effects of the sun, free radicals and exposure to the elements, they too are now reaching for skincare items such as moisturizers that target rashes from shaving and over exposure, eye gels infused with green tea and cucumber for puffiness, and "oil control" sticks to easily target breakouts.
But the latest trend is makeup - yes, makeup for men. So ask yourself again, will men wear makeup eventually? No, not eventually, they already are.

Why and How Should Men Exfoliate
exfoliating for men
Exfoliation. Err... what are we talking about here? It's not the regular thing for guys to start talking about exfoliating their faces during the football game commercial.
But that doesn't mean it's not important. What other better place to learn about male exfoliation then the Internet!
First off, let's make it clear what exfoliation actually means.
Exfoliating is basically the act of removing dead skin from your face and therefore letting you show off your healthy facial skin below.
Capiche? Now to the next step, why should guys exfoliate?
Why Do REAL Men Exfoliate?
Men would actually benefit more from exfoliating than women!
This is because it is already a known fact that men have thicker skin than women.
So exfoliation helps men reveal softer and even toned skin.
Remember exfoliation wipes off all the dead skin on your face. Plus, if it's that good for our faces it can do the same for our body.
There are great exfoliation body soaps as well.
How Should Men Exfoliate?
Well first you need a product. If you're comfortable with shopping at your local stores, check around and you can find tons of men's skin care products.
Some great exfoliation products for men are Nivea for Men Energizing Face Scrub, King of Shaves and Neutrogena Men Daily Face Scrub just to name a few.
But, if you feel kind of awkward looking at skin care product in public, like myself, don't have time to shop, or have sensitive skin than online shopping is for you.
Visit the Best Shaving Cream, you can find tons of product review and recommendations.
Some of my favorites The Art of Shaving Facial Scrub for Sensitive Skin, Jack Black Face Buff (I use this one) and Sharps Barber and Shop Daily Prep Foaming Scrub.
After choosing your scrub, it's easy cruisin' from here. Using an exfoliator is easy. Wet your face, rub in the exfoliator in circular motions all over your face, rinse and dry. Was that to hard?
When Should Men Exfoliate?
Always before shaving, unless the directions specify to use it after shaving. And of course you should exfoliate daily.
So now you know why and how men should exfoliate and the benefits you will get from exfoliating daily.
Healthier looking skin and overall a better appearance, because your face is what everyone sees first!
Zirh Rejuvenate Product Review
men's skin care product review
Today I'm reviewing Zirh's REJUVENATE Anti-Aging Face CreamThe product claims to:
"reduce the apprearance of fine lines, even and brighten skin tone, restore skin's lipid balance and elasticity with repeated use."
Application is easy - apply to face and neck twice daily (ideally after using Zirh's CLEAN Face Wash). My skin is very strange in that sometimes it's dry and sometimes it's oily. So I only use it once a day and don't put it on acne-prone "problem" areas. And you don't need much - a little goes a long way.
The cream itself has a very light texture and no noticeable girly fragrance. It seems like it could be used as a moisturizer by itself.
There are 5 key ingredients to Rejuvenate:
* Rice Peptides protect the skin from loss of collagen, protects a man's skin from loss of elasticity, early onset of wrinkles and age spots with regular use.
* Licorice Derivates brighten and even skin tone.
* Earth Minerals restore cell vitality and protect skin from free radicals.
* Ceramides protect the skin from moisture loss.
* Ethylene immediately smooothes the skin and visibly reduces fine lines by creating an acrylic acid protective film on the face and neck.
But the real problem here is: Does it work? Well I just bought my Rejuvenate from Zirh, but I've only been using it for about 2 days, so I have to wait about a month I think to see the real results.
However, Zirh has a 45-day total satisfaction guarantee. If you're not satisified with any product of theirs you can return it within 45 days for a full refund. That's a reason why I decided to by the product from Zirh also, keeps my mind at ease.
I'm betting Rejuvenate really does work, but I'm going to continue using it while looking for any changes. With Zirh offering an easy no-hassle guarantee, why not try it yourself and report back the results?
Check out REJUVENATE Anit-Aging Face Cream.

- Hey - Great lens
Found a website this week offer mascara and foundation for men, and the correct way of applying it without being to obvious. As far as skin care is concerned - men should take care of their skin, but foundation and make-up - I think that is taking it a bit far

- You asked if men wear make-up. Sure they do. At least many of my friends do. Then again, most of them are drag queens. Does that count? Love the lense.
