Desire burning desire CAN NOT BE HIDDEN !!!!!!!!

Hill says "One must realize that all who have
accumulated great fortunes, first did a certain
amount of dreaming, hoping, wishing, DESIRING,
and PLANNING before they acquired money.

You may as well know, right here, that you can
never have riches in great quantities, UNLESS
you can work yourself into a white heat of Desire
for money, and actually BELIEVE you will possess
it."

When asked during an interview how he managed
to reach the top as a professional bodybuilder and
Hollywood actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger replied
with a single word, "Drive!"

Desire is a strong feeling, that impels one to the
attainment or possession of something that is
(in reality or imagination) within reach: a desire
for success.

Get the point, Desire a Burning desire can not be
hidden, there is no mistaking it when you have it.

You always obtain your hearts desire.

Hmm Hearts desire = Burning desire.

Merely thinking that you want or wish for freedom
is insufficient.

We are enchained by our true desires - We get
what we desire - believe or not, accept it or not
this is the truth. You can not rationalize it away.
This is an immutable Law of the Universe. Not
accepting FULL and total responsibility for our
results is what stops most folks from changing
their perceived desire to their real desire.

See, if You desire sympathy because it makes
you feel good, You will have an unsuccessful life
or large episodes of lack - so You can complain
and get sympathy.

We always fulfill our highest intention. We always
obtain our hearts desire.

A Burning desire can not be hidden.

That which we think about, and truly focus on we
achieve. Simple,really simple.

If Your highest intention is to feel as if you are
"better" than the average person, - You will
associate with those that have less than you,
that way you can always be better than them.

If your highest intention is too not give true love
(which does exist) You will continually sabotage
your relationships, divorce after divorce after divorce.

If you believe that you desire success, and have
read this chapter ask yourself one simple question.
Are you following Napoleon Hills instructions in this
chapter? Have you written your plan all six steps?

Do you read them out loud every day ? Twice a
day ? If not YOU do not have a burning desire for
wealth.

We always, every time get that which we desire.

So the big question is How do I develop my burning
desire ??

1 Take full responsibility for where you are or are not.
2. Look inside you and find Your why.
3. Burn Your bridges (DO NOT STOP YOUR income)
First plan the day and then take action to achieve your
desire.
4. Fill your environment with desire boosters. Make a
vision board, a dream board - create images of your
desire. Mastermind with like minded people - commit
to be here every week. Do whatever it takes to make
new friends who will help you keep your commitment.
5. Feed your mind with positive empowering
information on a daily basis.
6. Stop all negative incoming data ALL of it.
7 Develop your self talk
8. Take action NOW. !!!!

Ch 2 Mental Cleanse: Desire

Napoleon Hill calls Desire the starting point of riches,
which may be well and good but I could never seem to
get that "white heat of desire", that desire "which
transcended everything else" and "desiring riches with
a state of mind that becomes an obsession".

As a GREEN and an Aquarius, this all seemed a bit
much, emotionally. I just didn't seem to get that
passionate about anything. I can get obsessive, or
course, especially when it comes to spending! But
I don't think it is quite what Mr Hill was talking
about.

It occurred to me not that long ago, that I could do
just as well by 'working with what I have', and, as
Mr Hill advises, "become so determined to have ...
that you convince yourself you will have ... " and
still accomplish my goal of wealth and abundance,
succeeding "... because he chose a definite goal,
placed all his energy, all his will-power, all his
effort, everything, back of that goal."

So I use my determination where another has 'passion'
that drives them. And with Mr Hill's step-by-step
directions and guidance, the goal is still attainable.

Mr Hill uses personal stories as examples of his
teachings, to illustrate the various points he is
making, such as Edwn C Barnes, who, we are
told "... burned all bridges behind him." I usually
avoid taking such risk, telling myself I am being
more practical and realistic than the risk-takers
rather than admit I am simply allowing my fears
to rule.

So this week past I started burning my bridges,
deleting stored emails of various Biz opportunities,
un-subscribing from other "mlm training" ezines
and emails, and, like Indiana Jones (in "The Last
Crusade") taking that step out into what seems at
this moment's perspective to be empty space, I
took what little capital I had and signed on with
a new Network Marketing Company.

I'd gone through the checklist given in Mentoring
For Free and realized this was ( is! ) a 5-Pillar-
Company. So if that be the case, do I wait until I
feel 'safe' enough, 'ready' enough, before I start?
Mr Hill says, "Every person who wins in any
undertaking must be willing to burn his ships
and cut all sources of retreat." Certainly I feel
as if that's what I am doing!

So now on to "The Six Ways To Turn Desires In
to Gold", the checklist given in chapter 2 as "The
method by which the desire (or in my case,
GREEN determination) for riches can be
transmuted into its financial equivalent ...".

As Will Rogers said, "Even if you are on the right
track, you will get run over if you just sit there. "
, so here I go . . .

P.S. Well, okay, I feel just a little bit like I'm
cheating, as I have MFF Mentors, fellow MFF
students and Master Mind participants supporting
and assisting me through these transitions and
trainings. Pretty neat, huh?

What an amazing element to our design! I was born
with L4 Spinabifida, so my entire life I have walked
with crutches. However, I never considered myself
handicapped and in fact all those who have known
me my entire life, don't see me as handicapped.

My parents were told I would have to have a minimum
of 16 surgeries at various points in my childhood and
adolescence to correct different things wrong with my
body.

My parents never told me that was what they were
told, instead when it came time for me to have each
surgery done, they would pray and begin asking God
for a miracle and creative ideas as to how to correct
the problem without surgery.

They would begin doing the exercises with me or show
me what I needed to do to correct the problem and when
it came time for surgery, the problem would be corrected
w/o surgery and the doctors would just look at the before
and after xrays in astonishment.

I only had to have 2 surgeries. My parents raised me with
the belief that I could do anything I put my mind to. The
doctors told my parents when I was born that I would not
live past age 12 and if I did I wouldn't live past age 20.

My parents, in their God~given wisdom never shared that
doctor's opinion with me. I never had anyone tell me about
that prognosis until I was 26 and had fallen on a hard tile
floor and broke a bone in my lower back. When I went to
the back specialist she said to me,

"Do you realize you are 1 in a million?"

I told her I didn't understand what she was saying. She
explained to me that there are so few survivors of L4
Spinabifida that were my age that there was no research
done on adults with L4 spinabifida, this dilemma created
a problem for doctors to be able to effectively treat
spinabifida, thus leaving it to God to solve.

I asked her if there were something about spinabifida it
self that took people's lives or why were there those
statistics? What she said next totally took the air out
of her previous "death sentence" statement to me. She
said," most people born with your level of spinabifida
become obese due to lack of mobility.

Those that make it into their 20s lose hope because of
their immobility and obesity and once they lose hope,
they lose the will to live." I knew at that moment
there was no way I would be a statistic of spinabifida.

I had a 2 year old son and had EVERY REASON IN THE
WORLD TO LIVE. When I mentioned to her that I was
not going to be a statistic because I had a beautiful
son to live for, she again responded with amazement
and asked how that happened....

I had a HUGE DESIRE to have a child since I was very
young. I knew it would happen, there was no other
answer, I would have a child and I did have an amazing
son and now he is 17 years old and one of the most
amazing people I know.

Fast forward to 1996 I found myself living as a divorced,
single mom. I had to figure out how to provide for my son,
this was new to me. I had not been the bread winner before.

I began to focus again on things I felt that God had put
into my heart as a child to be accomplished in my adult
life. I began to make vision boards. I realized quickly
the benefit of putting my vision into picture form. As I
look back at my past vision boards, there are boards where
many of the things on it came into being during that year,
and other ones where not as many things came to pass.

When evaluating why that was, what I came to realize was
that when I was truly operating from a place of pure
desire more came to pass whereas the years that the
vision boards were more cluttered and just filled with
"stuff" I realized those were years that were chaotic
for me and I had very little focus overall.

I was in more of "survival mode" than in "design, desire
and destiny mode". However, in 2008 I did a poster board
vision board, as usual, + I did a Power Point vision board
where I set the Power Point as a screen saver, so my
vision went by me all day long.

One thing I didn't do with my 2008 vision board is to
develop a detailed plan of how to attain it. Never
theless, when I was reading this chapter, I got my
2008 vision board out and realized that all but two
things came about or very close.

I put that I would attend the company convention in
Las Vegas, NV with my three girlfriends and we would
go from the airport to the resort in a limo..........
we did. I put that I wanted to make $500,000.00 by
December 31, 2008 but what I didn't do was say how I
would accomplish that with my business I was in.

However, I did obtain within $40,000 of that amount,
due to a tragic accident I was in, somehow my desire
to obtain that amount of money, overrode the fact that
I didn't have a written business plan, at this point
in my growth, I cannot explain why or how that happened.

When the accident happened to me my desire kicked in and
worked overtime. For instance, doctors said that I would
be in the trauma center a minimum of 21 days, then I would
still have to go and spend that amount of time on the rehab floor.

This did NOT set right with me at all. I said to the
doctor, "do you realize that is three weekends?" Kind
of a mute point I know, but I was NOT about to spend
three weekends in a hospital, so on my fifth day there,
I said, "I need a list of things I need to accomplish
in order to leave."

The trauma team got a list of things I needed to accomplish
in PT and OT and to everyone's amazement I accomplished the ENTIRE list in four days. So in total I was only in the
trauma center for nine days and didn't have to go to the
rehab floor at all!

My desire to be released from the hospital was huge and
that was all I could see. Next, my family was told by
four different doctors that their prognossis that I would
ever get out of the wheelchair was "guarded".

Again, my family never shared that negative report with
me until I was out of the wheelchair seven months to the
day of the accident, December 31, 2008. I had a driving
desire to walk again with the crutches and get back to my
normal and that was my ONLY desire and focus.

When I read the six steps to do when creating an income
goal and statement, I realized that the missing element
of my last year's vision board was that I didn't develop
a business plan of what I would do with my business to accomplish my desire.

So in revamping my vision board I am putting together a
detailed plan of what I will do to accomplish this task
complete with dates when I will reach each level of accomplishment and success.

JCPenney's life statement that he made as a child that
he would have enough money to live on 10% and give 90%
away always hung on our fridge as I was growing up, and
I have adopted that as one of my life goals. I am well
on my way in this five pillar business to live on 10%
of my income and give 90% away.

To accomplish this, I will daily help as many people as
time will allow to understand their own design, desire
and destiny and become wildly successful beyond their
wildest imaginations.
