I am really enjoying getting to know you better through your lenses. What you are doing here in your role as a Mentor is so commendable!

I love the puppets in the Puppet play - does this sort of thing inspire your art?

Congatulations on that Purple Star, another well desrving lens.

I've told my children that, when they grow older, I can't imagine living at home without a child coming by on a regular basis. It would seem too quiet, in comparison to what I've grown used to. Though I'm not registered anywhere as a mentor, I do have a few teens looking to me for suggestions - asking questions about the future, wanting to hang out for a while and it makes me feel great. In time, I will do what you are doing - likely with a different organization closer to home - wherever home is at that point in time.

OK...this is premature, I know, but I just finished reading your introduction and had to make this comment: I think I'm really going to love this lens and I just needed to let you know that right away. I'm sure I'll be back with another comment after reviewing your entire lens.

What a great lens and a great story. I did something similar years ago and it was so rewarding. I have sprinkled angel dust on it today and rated it!

What a great scheme for the mentor and for the young people on the scheme. I don't think we have anything like that here in the UK. I hope someone will tell me if I'm wrong. Blessed by an Angel.

Tremendous! What a bond you have with Jeimy and her whole family and all of her friends!!

Tell Jeimy to put a guest book up on her lens and also, to activate her contact button--then she'll be good to go!!

    Love, Mukunda22 hahaha

SO impressed with what you did here. I wanted to record what Kendretta and I did using Tumblr, but I have trouble just completing our America Learns logs. VERY COOL!

I'm not a mentor and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed that you've done more to mentor this young girl than I think I've done for my own children! Your joy for life is so evident in your lenses and I'm sure your experiences with Jeimy were valuable to the both of you. What a selfless act and you did an outstanding job pointing out the opportunities we can give children to help them become better students. Excellent job. :)

You know when something is good as your eyes are filled with tears of joy and a sense of gratitude while your life fashes back and forth from past experiences to current situations.

Looking at the pictures and reading through your content I can sincerely say that so far your intentions shine through as your work strongly supports Jeimy's life . You are a positive example for many to follow and I am wishing you all the best.

    Kind Regards
    kazooli.
