Elfling Creations- Art by Meri Greenleaf

My two loves in life are art and literature. I've always been artistically-inclined; in school I took as many art classes as I was allowed, and eventually found my niche in pottery. Currently I work with polymer clays, and I'm having a blast mixing in powders and sculpting with it. My favorite clay things to make are runestones.

I also make jewelry, chainmaille, and dreamcatchers, and I love the fiber arts- I crochet, spin (spindles), and sew (handsew). I also occasionally draw or paint, but those two need practice. Most of what I make is fantasy inspired, since those are the things that spark my creativity.

I live, breathe, and dream literature (I have a library of over 450) and have a degree on English. Someday I hope to get my Masters and become a professor of British Literature. I've recently decided that I'm going to teach myself Old English to give myself a leg-up for when I get back to school (and to be able to speak Rohirric).

My two living loves are my wonderful fiance and our kitty-daughter Clarabell who never leaves my side.

I also enjoy fantasy, Renfaires, Celtic rock, video games, gardening, and Dungeons and Dragons.
