message from bill w

I got a voice mail message on my cell phone awhile ago. The caller obviously got the wrong phone number, mistaking my phone number to be that of Alcoholics Anonymous or AA yet, somehow the call still seemed like it had been appropriately guided.

The message was,

"Henry in room 302 would like someone from NA or AA to come and see him."

I guess NA (Narcotics Anonymous) or AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) used to have the same phone number that I have now. That's not unusual with the efficiency of phone number turn overs. But the way the message has stayed with me seems to indicate there's a higher power at work here, that maybe there's something more to the message, maybe a lot more. I didn't have a vehicle at the time or I'd have gone to see Henry as requested. But perhaps the fact I didn't have a vehicle opened me up to the much greater power of prayer. It occurred to me that perhaps it was actually a message from beyond, from Bill Wilson.

"Please join in a non-linear 12 step meeting for Henry, in room 302."
