Metal Rust Removers

We all know that when people give us gifts that we truly cherish we will do what ever it takes to make sure we make these special gifts last a lifetime. This is why jewelery makes such a nice gift but also needs to be taken care of in an extra special way. Let me tell you a little story about how this metal rust remover saved me from a lot of heartache.

A couple of months back my wife to be purchased a beautiful watch for me for my birthday gift. This thing was sweet, the one I have been wanting for a long time. Shiny silver band and diamond faceplate. I was shocked that I finally got it but I didn't think it would of been a gift from my soon to be wife.

Anyways, to make a long story short, I took it off and left it on the bathroom sink counter. Little did I know it was sitting in water for about a week. And the only reason I found out about it was because the sink counter top had orange rust stains on it and when I picked up my watch I found out that the watch band had been rusting and was the cause of the orange rust stains. Any man knows that if you soon to be wife gets you a nice gift and you don't take care of it, you are up the poo creek without a paddle. And on top of that, I got rust on the sink counter top? Talk about a double wammy.

My first thought was to try some bleach to remove the rust stains. What a waste of time. So I went and did some research and found some rust removal products to choose from and also a natural metal rust remover that was safe to use on counter tops but also was the real deal when it came to removing rust from metal. I figured I would give it a shot because I had nothing else to loose.

My main concern was that the metal rust remover would take off more of the finish of the watch along with the rust as well but that wasn't the case. So I sprayed a small part of the watch band and hoped for the best. I was shocked to see that I didn't even have to scrub the rust off of the watch. All I did was let it do the work for me. I just wiped off the watch and ran it under some water and the watched looked brand new. Great one problem solved, now lets go 2 for 2.

Next I sprayed the metal rust remover on the rust stain on the counter top. Same thing happened. The dark orange rust stain started to turn light yellow and literally came off wiping it with a damp cloth. I couldn't believe that this metal rust remover did the trick.

Not many people will go through the stress like I did but either way you look at it, it is always nice to have a metal rust remover on hand to clean up certain things such as jewelery, and silver chains because most of them are metal based and will have a chance to get rust on them in the future.
