Metalstrom to release EP

Ranked #14,984 in Music, #421,341 overall

New EP to be released by Metalstrom - Servicing the World

Update:
Work is progressing well with two of three tracks nearing completion for "Servicing the World".
Bass tracks are about to be added using an Ibanez GSR205 5 string Bass.

The final track could be one of two currently and I haven't decided which is the best fit as of yet. :)
The Ep focuses on fairly heavy rythmical low end rock with some tasty tapping style solo's on over the top. See vids below! Main instrument is an Ibanez RG7321 (7 String) with a Marshall VS100 stack and a Pod X3 used for effects.

At this point I have to sort of own up a little, where I say my "main instrument" it's one that is played a lot but also I own a few other Ibanez RG550's which are fantastic guitars to play too.

Most of the recording has been carried out at home on Sonar Home Studio 7 with drums provided by Ezdrummer - Drum kit from Hell. Both Sonar 7 and Ezdrummer are excellent pieces of software, intuitive and amazing value for money and I would reccommend them both highly.

Once completed the EP and associated artwork will be free to download as MP3's.

All comments and feedback very welcome as ever!

Teaching Video

Awesome tapping (how too)

This is a quick teaching video on how to do intermediate to high level tapping. These techniques can be added to just about any shape you choose to use and is a great way to start impressive tapping technique. Have fun
