Eruption of the face; doesn't that sound unpleasant? In a way that might seem accurate though, since severe acne tends to take on the shape of small volcanoes protruding from the surface of the skin. And if you pop one, there certainly can be an "eruption".

Some of the terms in that definition might sound like greek to you and me, but we all know what acne is. Chances are, you've had to face it at one point in your life.
