Today marks 200 years since Mexico gained it's independence! Televisa thoughtfully put together a wonderful collection called : Esto es Mexico, Las Estrellas del Bicentenario. This is Mexico: The Stars of the Mexican Bicentennial. These beautiful and serene videos truly capture the wonder and magic of the beautiful land of Mexico. It shows the indigenous people, the native animals, and all the enchanting landscapes, accompanied by beautiful and serene melodies. What more can I say, these videos speak for themselves and tell a wonderful story..

When I first saw these videos on TV, I was in awe, inspired and grateful to have roots so deep in a land that is so lush and beautiful. I am a proud citizen of the United States, however, my lineage resides in Mexico, Tenochtitlan, Land of the Aztec Gods, land of my father and mother. I've only been as far as Chihuahua Mexico, My only hope is to one day, in this life, explore all these wondrous locations firsthand..

My husband is from Jalisco state, there is so much history in Mexico, that Americans do not know.
