What Makes Mexican Empanada Recipes So Wonderfully Unique

Our Mexican Empanadas Recipes are a traditional food in many Latin countries, especially Argentina and Mexico. They can be found in most other countries as well, sometimes as empanadas and sometimes with different names, but always delicious, filling, and tasty. If you have never tried an empanada then you are missing out on one of life's greatest pleasures.

What makes Mexican empanadas such a great option is their versatility. Not many foods can be eaten either as a dessert, snack, appetizer, or entire meal, and empanadas are a food that fulfills all of these requirements. They are extremely flexible and can be served at any time a snack or meal is needed. Especially if you have some ready ahead of time they can be an extremely practical meal choice in an emergency.

Not only that, but empanadas are so unique because they can be filling with almost anything. You like fish? Fill them with tuna, salmon, or oysters, or anything else you feel like putting in there. Prefer the basics? Well, go with a delicious ham and cheese or chicken empanada filling. Need a quick dessert? Fill some empanadas with blueberry, chocolate, or apples, and you have your dessert ready for you.

Empanadas should be a staple in everybody's menu because they are so unique and wonderful to cook and eat. You can enjoy one or two when you need a midnight snack, or serve them up at a brunch to accompany your eggs, or whatever you want. The beauty of empanadas is in their versatility, flexibility, uniqueness, and delicious taste and texture.

Photo Description:

Empanadas are a treat any time you want to eat them, and they are so easy to make that even a 5 year old could make them. If you keep an eye on them during the baking process, then these are extremely hard to go wrong with. With only about 20 minutes of work you could have yourself a fine treat or meal.

How to Make Mexican Empanada Recipes Like a Pro

Empanadas are extremely versatile and yet delicious in all their forms. You can fill them with apples or chocolate for a decadent dessert, add salmon or veal for a more elegant and gourmet effect, or simply fill them up with the basics like chicken or potato for a more homey and comforting meal. Empanadas can be made with whatever filling the maker likes best, and if you do not know what that is, you can try until you find it out. Ham and cheese as an empanada filling will be a winner every time.

Ham and cheese is simply a winning combination that has been tried and proven for thousands of years. Ham and cheese goes back for a very long time, and anyone that has eaten a sandwich ever knows the true deliciousness of the combination. When you take that winning mixture, add some onions, parsley, and other ingredients to the mix, and stuff all of that into an empanada, well, you cannot do much better.

The best thing about empanadas is that anyone can make them if they have the right ingredients. Once you have a good recipe and follow it all the way through, you can be a pro at cooking them just by using someone else's expertise. If you have never made an empanada before, go out, buy some puff pastry or empanada wrappers, and begin cooking, because you can do it even on the first try. Step out to try something new and you will see some great results.
