What Makes Mexican Salmon Recipes So Wonderfully Unique
Anyone that has tasted Mexican food has to admit it is extremely unique. There is just something about it that cannot easily be replicated anywhere else, even in so called Mexican restaurants in other countries. Many of these restaurants are also extremely delicious, but the authentic flavor of Mexico is just so much better and tastier. If you have never experienced true Mexican food, then you can make your own at home with a Mexican salmon recipe.
Mexican salmon is doubly unique, for one because of its many flavors and for another because of the fact that it is salmon. Most people do not eat salmon very often, and when they do the taste is a very specific and unique one that they are not likely to forget. Salmon in itself is extremely unique, and when you add to that the Mexican flavors the taste becomes even more incredible.
The unique flavoring of Mexican cuisine comes in large part from the chili, the cilantro, the lemon, and the cumin, and a few other things depending on the dish. When you make your salmon you put all of these things onto it and more, and then cook it in a way so that all the flavors cook into the fish rather than into the air, and this contributes even more.
Mexican salmon is something that is not appropriate for all occasions, but when you want something fun, tasty, and elegant all at once, you choose Mexican salmon. Eat it alone, with rice, tortillas, steak, whatever you want. It is completely up to you how you want to enjoy this delicious and unique dish.

Salmon Baked with Mexican Spicy
Ingredients
- 2 pounds salmon fillet
- ½ cup cilantro very finely minced
- ½ cup lemon juice
- 5 cloves of garlic minced finely
- 1 jalapeno finely minced or 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 large tomato
Instructions
Pour the olive oil into a small bowl. You will be making a sort of paste or rub for the salmon, and all your spice will be mixed into here. Add the lemon juice, ½ of the cilantro, garlic, cumin, chili, salt, and pepper into the oil and stir vigorously. Mix it up very well until everything is combined and then leave it for 5 minutes while the flavors combine.
While you spices are sitting, get out a sheet of aluminum foil. You will be using this to bake the salmon. Turn on the oven and heat it to 400 F.
After your five minutes are up rub the oil and spices mixture onto the salmon. Be careful not to be too rough, but use enough power so that everything gets in there. Apply all of your oil paste and rub it in thoroughly. When it is completely rubbed in, place your salmon onto the aluminum foil.
Slice your tomato into very thin slices and cover the top of the salmon with them. On top of this sprinkle the rest of the cilantro. Fold and seal the tin foil around the salmon, and place the package onto a baking tray to cook. Bake for 20 minutes, and then serve.
