Mexico All Inclusive Destinations
Cancun - A huge amount of all inclusive resorts built on a land bridge that is seven miles long jutting out into the Caribbean Sea and reconnecting with the small city of Cancun. Cancun is located on the Yucatan Peninsula on the eastern coast of Mexico. Other than a few golf courses, nightclubs, and shopping malls, Cancun is a place where you sit on the beach and enjoy the meals, drinks, and activities of your all inclusive resort.
Riviera Maya - The coastline streatching south of Cancun to Playa del Carmen and Tulum is known as the Riviera Maya. Fly into the Cancun airport and take a shuttle south to your resort. A fairly dry climate leads to a lot of sun, sand, and surf, but it isn't a lush tropical destination.
Cozumel - An island off the Riviera Maya coast just east of Playa del Carmen. Cozumel is known as a great snorkeling and scuba diving destination, but has limited beaches.
Cabo San Lucas - An all inclusive resort destination on the southern tip of the Baja peninsula.
Puerto Vallarta - Located on the Pacific coast of Mexico. Many of the all inclusive resorts are in a beach area just outside of Puerto Vallarta called Nuevo Vallarta.

What's Included?
Each Mexico all incluisve vacation package will be a little different. Make sure you understand what is included before you make your reservations.
Most all inclusive packages will include meals, drinks, accommodations, activities, and entertainment. Each resort will have a different definition of these terms.
Find out if there are specialty restaurants or if there is just a large buffet. Find out if there is 24 hour room service or if there are specified times when food will be available. Ask your resort if there will be a minifridge in your room and how often it will be refilled. Most resorts will include alcoholic drinks in your all inclusive package, but some of them won't have premium liquors available.
If you have any questions, the best advice is to call the resort you are considering staying at. While you have the person on the phone, ask if it is possible to make reservations for the specialty restaurants before you arrive.

- In my experience, it's best to speak directly to the Mexican resort if you can. We went through a travel agent and found out we were paying 30% more than everyone else at the resort. Nice info and lens and I've lensrolled it to my lens on buying and living in Mexico. Oh, yeah..and angel blessings, too!
