Sudden Death
By Michael Balkind
Reid Clark is a pro golfer at the top of the leader board during the PGA tour; he's also a hot-head with a reputation for trouble. Reid receives a death threat right before teeing off on the final day of the Master's Tournament, and hires a P.I. to track down the perpetrator. Suspense builds throughout as Reid tries to compete in one of golf's most prestigious contests...and woo the woman he loves...while dodging death at every turn. For golfers, mystery lovers and male readers in general, Sudden Death will score big.Buy This Book

It was a great read. I read in almost one sitting and it was a great book on golf, which i've never read a book on golf and a mystery Posted December 10, 2007 |
I must admit, I'm not a huge golf fan, but I found Sudden Death very engaging. The golf scenes seemed very real and held my attention. I loved the "bad boy of golf" main character.

Just finished reading a copy of Sudden Death and I was very impressed. Balkind's passion for his characters and subject comes through in his writing wonderfully. I look forward to his future releases.

I'm a pretty avid reader of thriller novels but not a huge sports fan. To my surprise I couldn't put the book down once I opened it. The plot moved fast and kept me engaged throughout in, what proved to be, a very exciting and enjoyable read. Highly recommended

I borrowed an advance copy from a friend of mine. I couldn't put it down. I'm not a big fan of golf but if the book is like the game in real life, pass me my 9 iron.

I read the book. I loved the book. I can easily see why James Patterson and Clive Cussler gave Sudden Death two thumbs up. I predict we'll hear a lot more about Balkind and his books.

I really enjoyed this book, it had a great golf story combined with my favorite type of genre (a good thriller!) Way to combine my two favorite things!
