His music was beloved and very popular with the audience, and his spirituality is genuine and moving.
His ministry is the truest sense of the word: caring and soothing the soul.

- Hello all,
Michael Card has been one of my very favorite musicians for several years now. He is still among the top five on my personal list of favorites.
Michael has a free podcast called In The Studio With Michael Card. I downloaded it on iTunes and listen to his program while I work.
He hosts several other musical and spiritual guests, such as Phil Keaggy and Sara Groves. The musical talents of just these two people are, in my opinion, the best of the best in the world of Christian music. One of the things that impresses me the most about Michael Card, along with Sara Groves, is that they are gifted not only to write music, but to write lyrics that are incredibly profound and meaningful.
Another thing that I admire about Michael is that he is doing what he loves to do and He is undeniably meant to do it. That is a rare thing. We all should work as hard has he has to do the same, whatever our gift.
