Michael Condron
President, COO, architect of advantageous CorSolutions merger
Michael Condron was formerly president and chief operating officer of CorSolutions, an industry innovator in disease management, in Rosemont, Ill. Mike Condron also served as the company's director through its highly successful sale to a top, publicly traded competitor in January 2006, spearheading the $445-million merger that represented over 11 times the company's EBITA, a feat all the more impressive considering the company's valuation of less than $280 million 10 months earlier. Michael Condron joined the firm as general counsel in 2002 and also served as executive vice president.
During his time at CorSolutions, Mike Condron advised the company on key business and legal matters, crafting policy, personally engaging the senior management team and actively leading the company into a period of record profit and growth. During Michael Condron's tenure, and under his orchestration, the company experienced average annual growth of 35 to 45 percent, ultimately achieving a four-fold revenue growth and tenfold market diversification. Among Michael Condron's contributions were innovative contracts that provided more clarity and opportunity while lengthening terms of agreement for clients.
Law firm experience
Before joining CorSolutions, Mike Condron was a partnership-track senior associate at the law firm of Gardner, Carton & Douglas, where he served as outside counsel to many healthcare, academic and technology clients and companies, including CorSolutions. Michael Condron provided employment counseling, lending his litigation expertise to matters of labor expansion and reduction, confidentiality agreements, restrictive covenants, non-solicitation of employees, executive compensation and severance contracts. His work was marked by his strategic approach, and he was a much-requested counsel, also serving as an associate manager and firm representative at many national events.
Michael Condron worked from 1998 to 2000 as an associate at the former Verner, Liipfert, Bernhard, McPherson & Hand (now DLA Piper), serving in Washington, D.C., in the Labor and Employment Department. While there, Michael Condron specialized in labor, litigation and legislative matters, including collective bargaining, union election and labor and employment law.
Prior to that, Mike Condron was a litigation associate in the Labor and Employment Department of Pedersen & Houpt in Chicago, gaining experience in a wide variety of areas, including commercial litigation and employment discrimination cases, and appearing in hearings before the Illinois Department of Labor and Human Rights.
Education and Affiliations
Michael Condron earned a Bachelor of Science cum laude from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Ill., and graduated from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago with a Juris Doctorate.
Michael Condron is an active member of the Federal and State Bar Associations, American Bar Association and American Health Lawyers Association. He is also an accomplished public speaker and sought-after panelist.
Mikel Condron serves as one of three officers on the advisory and development board of the St. Vincent DePaul Center in Chicago, a nonprofit community outreach and early childhood development organization. He is also on the legal advisory board of the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Mike Condron lives in Chicago with his wife, son and daughter.
