Honoring Michael Jackson's Commitment To Make The World A Better Place
Michael Jackson was a sensitive person who was also well-known for his generosity. While I knew he was involved with charities & donated large sums of money, time and his name - I never quite realized to what extent. The loss of this gentle, loving spirit will not only be felt in the music industry, but in the lives of all those that his philanthropy touched.
I was his fan all my life & will continue to be, and I choose to honor his giving spirit by redoubling my own commitment to help make the world better. Won't you join me?

What People Say About Michael's Generosity...
- "Please do not despair, because Michael will continue to live on in each and every one of you. Continue to spread his message, because that is what he would want you to do. Carry on, so his legacy will live forever. " Excerpt from Jackson Family Statement
- "There's a lesson for us in Michael Jackson's legacy. Each of us can do so much for one another other to bring greater well-being, deeper happiness, reach out with an act of kindness or compassion. We can all learn from his example to extend ourselves to heal the world one person at a time. " excerpt from blog post at YourCause.com

Here's some!
- Support Our Troops
- Looking for ways to support and honor U.S. military service members and veterans who protect our security and freedom? In years past, you could wrap up a care package and mail it to "Any Service Member" for the holidays, but with increased mail restrictions, the Pentagon is asking people to help through financial contributions, letter-writing and e-mail, purchasing authorized pre-made care packages, or volunteering time through non-profits.
This page has links to programs that offer aid to our military -- everything from care packages to emergency services to military family support. Show your pride in our armed forces today, either by purchasing a gift or card for a servicemember, or donating to programs that support our military. - Volunteer | Do Something
- Powering offline action. Using the power of online to get teens to do good stuff offline. We will give you tons of easy ways to do something!
- Show Your Support
- OurMilitary- The official Department of Defense web site encouraging support of U.S. Military troops around the world, especially those fighting the War on Terror.
- Make The Difference Network

- Excellent lens Sylvia, lensrolled with my Michael Jackson - You Are Not Alone. There was so much about Michael which wasn't publicised during his life, I think he liked to work quietly to help so many people. I hope people can begin to get past the controversies which dogged him and see the real Michael, someone who was always giving and whose legacy to the World is unmatchable.
