On the Electric Piano...

he plays keyboard bass with his left hand, and piano with his right while he sings.

This is the same technique Stevie Wonder uses on 80% of his recordings. It gives a "Rhythm" to the music. Some people even get up and dance at his Solo performances!

More About Michael Keys

Vocalist, keyboard artist -- he's got the credentials and has definitely paid his dues.

Michael began his musical career in Yorkville Village during the mid-1960's, where he played with a number of Toronto R 'n B bands including the Toronto recording band, "CAT". Over the years, Michael has performed with a number of musical artists and bands including: Frank Cosentino, The Meteors, Killin' Jive (Swing Band), Mitch Lewis, Mike Eastman (of Ronnie Hawkins Hawks), The Hiptonics, Trick Bag, The Bear Band, Steve Kennedy (of Dr. Music), Jamie Oaks, King Biscuit Boy, and many other acts, playing every kind of music. Michael is a unique "lefthanded" bass player which means he plays bass with his left-hand and piano/organ with his right-hand. His unique style of playing provides a rhythm to his performances unlike anything you've ever heard.

When he adds his smooth Baritone voice to this dual instrumentation...a lot of toes start tapping!
