Michael W. Smith is one of my favorite contemporary Christian musicians/singers. In fact he's one of my favorite musicians period! My husband and I both love his music. We have been fortunate enough to attend several of his concerts over the years, including the recording of his Worship album. In July 2007, we had the wonderful opportunity to be aboard Holland America's ms Oosterdam for the very first ever Michael W. Smith and Friends Cruise - to Alaska. It was absolutely amazing!

Short Bio

Michael Whitaker Smith was born October 7, 1957, in Kenova, West Virginia. He now calls the Nashville, Tennessee area home. He is married to Debbie Smith, and they have five children: Ryan, Whitney, Tyler, Anna and Emily.

Michael W. Smith's nickname is Smitty.
