My name is Michelle Collins I am an wife, mom of 3 and an artist. I have been a member of Squidoo since November 12 2009. I love this site, it is the best on the web!
This site has made it possible for me to tie all of the things I enjoy all together like a giant rubber band ball.
I enjoy creating lenses on my art, helpful links for artists, music, party ideas, free graphics and the list goes on!
Since I have joined I made: Giant Squid, have one Purple Star and one lens that made Lens Of The Day. I have also enjoyed the fact that I have been able to promote my art on the web like never before! It has resulted in an upswing in art sales on all of my websites!

On Squidoo I can make money just for creating lenses featuring my art. It is like being paid to show your work!
It is a lot of work but I am use to working very hard on promotion, and this has been my golden ticket so far!
It takes some time but the time is minimal compared to what I have been working so hard at for over 10 years. Remember, I joined in November 2009!

On Squidoo you can come up with creative ways of presenting your artwork! Not only do you get paid for the lenses and selling your art, you also get paid from Squidoo for selling YOUR art!
This is how it works:
If you already sell on eBay or Cafepress; Squidoo has easy click modules to add to your lenses. You choose what you want to sell and it inserts it right into your page. Then when something sells, not only are you making a sale, you also get a commission from Squidoo for selling your own artwork! How cool is that?
If you are not an artist you can sell other peoples items as well!

Share info about yourself!
I find my art is an outlet to deal with many of lifes ups and downs. Some of my more meaningful pieces, I would like for people to connect with them. Some how in the same way as music; to see that they are not the only ones who deal with life's struggles. If they want they can take it not for what it is; but for what they believe it to be. Others: I hope to provoke smiles, in some cases laughter. Or people can enjoy it just simply as decoration; as some of my simpler pieces are. Ultimately, I hope to continue creating whatever inspires me. To keep learning; to live my dream: earn a living doing what I love.
Do you travel?
Though my art was my first reason for joining Squidoo. I also found it to be a great place to show off my vacation photos and share some of the cool things I have experienced. Once again, you can make money for the lens & you can add modules to sell other peoples products too!
