Michelle Stafford joined the cast of The Young and The Restless as Phyllis in 1994. Since then, she's transformed her character into one of the most popular, talked about characters on daytime tv. Michelle started out as a model and has appeared in such tv shows as Pacific Palisades, Jag, Frasier, Judging Amy. She starred opposite of Ashley Judd in the movie "Double Jeopardy".
Born in Illinois, Michelle had dreams of becoming a model. Not long after she broke into modeling, she discovered she had a brain tumor at the age of 18. Her family was around to support her and she recovered after having it removed (it was benign).She returned to a successful modeling career and then decided to try acting.
She recently became a Mom in real life to little cutie Natalia Scout Lee Stafford (see Michelle's daughter pictures below) and is a huge supporter for Animal Rights.
Awards: Michelle has won two daytime emmys (Best Lead Actress and Best Supporting Actress) for her portrayal of Phyllis on The Young and the Restless.
As Phyllis on Y&R, she plays Mom to Daniel (played by Michael Graziadei and pictured with her above) and Summer. (played by Samantha Bailey)

- I used to watch Y&R back in the day but I haven't kept up with it lately. I'm more into General Hospital these days but my mother is always trying to get me to watch Y&R because she is addicted. I know if I start watching again I'll be hooked.The whole cast including Michelle is very talented.
