Mick Jagger Band The Rolling Stones

Ranked #8,900 in Music, #241,970 overall

what is the rolling stones

The most popular entertainment rock band in record is The Rolling Stones. An English rock band that was started in April of 1962. Brian Jones, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ian Stewart started the band.
The Rolling Stones are more in rhythm and blues and rock and roll when they first started out, but labeled a rock and roll band after a hit in the mid 1960s.

It's Classic Rock

Today many people call it classic rock. The Rolling Stones went on to become one of the most successful rock and roll bands ever. They would create thirty albums throughout the years. In 1994, they were entered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The Stones Success

Maybe the reason that the Rolling Stones have been successful for so long is that they have such a passion and love for what they do. For more than forty years they have been able to create music that has been enjoyed by many. Other bands have tried to have a lifetime career in music but, few of them managed to entertain so well for so long.

Best Song Ever

A sad sad song.
A song that talks about love.
About a man who is having trouble with his woman. But no matter how much she hurts him, he still will always love her. We all have had a similar situation with someone. By far the stones best works! It turned into one of the great love songs of all time.

Ian Stewart

(1962 - 1985) Piano, organ, marimbas and percussion

He played on every Stones album between 1964 and 1983, with the single exception of Beggars Banquet, sometimes adding marimbas and percussion to his core keyboard skill, which were augmented by some other great players, such as Jack Nitzsche, Nicky Hopkins and Billy Preston.

Ronnie Wood

(1976 - present) Slide, lap and pedal steel guitars; occasional bass

in the 1960's, he become the guitar player for everyone from the Birds to Jeff Beck to the Faces and then to Rod Stewart . But Wood and his guitar-playing became super-charged when he joined The Rolling Stones.

Brian Jones

(1962 - 1969) Guitars, sitar, keyboards, accordion, trumpet, saxophone, backing vocals

For many years from the formation of the Stones, up to the end of 1966, Brian was extremely happy.
He met his end in the bottom of a swimming pool at his Cotchford Farm home (once owned by famed "Winnie the Pooh" author A. A. Milne.)

Mick Taylor

(1969 - 1974) Electric, acoustic, and slide guitar, backing vocals

Mick Taylor brought The Rolling Stones something new. his sound was different. Mick Taylor plays on the albums many Stones fans consider to be the greatest of the band's career, with the possible exception of A Bigger Bang.

Bill Wyman

(1962 - 1992) Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals, Keyboards

Wyman took piano lessons from age 10 to 13. A year after his marriage on 24 October 1959 he bought a Burns electric guitar for £52 After hearing a bass guitar at the Barron Knights' concert, he fell in love with the sound of it and decided this was his instrument. He created the first fretless electric bass
In late 1962, he auditioned to be the bassist for the Rolling Stones and was duly chosen.

Keith Richards

(1962 - present) Guitar, lead and backing vocals, electric and acoustic guitar

Recordings of Richards playing other instruments besides guitar are not unusual. He has played bass on several Rolling Stones studio recordings

Charlie Watts

(1962 - present) Drums

Charlie Watts is one of the most famous drummers in history. His time with The Rolling Stones have made him the longest standing drummer in rock.

Rolling Stone Concert

My Big Dream

posion

I Have always Said I would love to go to a Rolling Stone Concert when they came near my town, I resolved to get Rolling Stones tickets. All those guys are getting pretty old and, although they can still rock, it is unclear how long they will be rocking. I put off seeing the Grateful Dead until it was too late. I wasn't going to make the same mistake with the Rolling Stones.

I waited in line for hours for the Rolling Stones tickets. Back then, I wasn't as tech savvy as I am now. I thought that the best way to get tickets was to be right outside when the doors opened. Unfortunately, by that point a lot of them had already been sold to online buyers. Nonetheless, I still got good seats. I had a lot of money saved up, and was able to spring for the really premium viewing seats.I steal had money for a good old Rolling Stones T-shirt When I got home with my Rolling Stones ticket stubs and shirt , I was as happy as I could be.what's next Slipknot, Motley Crüe, Poison. Are they still alive ? ? ? ? ?

The concert was a lot of fun. I went with a good friend of mine and had an absolute blast. I can't remember the last time I danced like that! All in all, it was definitely worth the wait. I can't wait until they come around on their next tour. I'll definitely be there to see that.

LOVE the Stones! Still have the ticket stub somewhere from when I saw them in Frankfurt in the mid or late 70s. Gosh, that's a loooong time ago. I was REALLY young then. And so were the Stones!
