Never rule out Ebay as a place to buy your supplies from, you can get some great stuff on Ebay and at some surprisingly good prices.

If you plan to mat your photos, then perhaps instead of using themed paper, consider using plain cardstock as your background and then embellishing your page with brads, buttons and stickers.
