The version 1.0 release of MicroNicheFinder originally cost $47.00, which James Jones (the man behind MNF) then increased to $67.00 for the release of version 2.0. This price rise reflected the increased capability of the version 2.0 product. For version 3.0, James did not change the price, despite the fact that the software's functionality improved yet again.

Obviously, James could not afford to keep adding features and leave the price unchanged. Therefore, for the version 4.0 release he announced in advance that the price would be going up to $97.00. Fortunately, this gave us plenty of time to alert our readers with the announcement you can see below.

Version 5.0 was released during April 2010 and once again the MNF Team gave plenty of notice of another increase in price. In recognition of the economic pain being felt worldwide James kept the price rise as low as possible. On 23 April 2010 the standard selling price of Micro Niche Finder became $99.99.

At this point, you might be feeling a little disappointed to have missed the earlier prices. However, there are two things you need to bear in mind.

1. All MicroNicheFinder users get lifetime updates included as part of the purchase price.


2. James and his team are still actively developing MNF, to ensure that this great keyword research tool remains on the cutting edge.

Now, the development team has not announced any imminent price rise and if they do we will announce it here. However, as demonstrated by the application history above, when James feels that sufficient improvements have been made to the software, he increases the price. Micro Niche Finder Software

A new release of Micro Niche Finder is coming soon. Here are a few things this release will include:

• Sort search results on the "checked" column. It will sort either way (checked results at bottom, or checked results to top).


• Column "headers" on the search results page remain onscreen when you scroll down the page.


• Added a 'Reset Counts' button on the Show SOC window. Clicking the button will reset inAnchor, inTitle, and inURL counts back to -1 (Click to retrieve), so the counts can be retrieved again.


• Selected domains on View Available Domains are also copied to the Windows clipboard when you click the Add Selected to My Domain List button.


• The results grid now remembers the last column and sort order between sessions.


• Filter out known Trademark names.

"There's an unwritten guideline in the software industry concerning software release dates that goes something like: "estimate the release date using the the most conservative timeframe you can and assuming everything goes wrong. Then double it."

We forgot to double it.

And we forgot to factor in Kevin's sinus infection which had him out for the better part of a week and a half.

The development team didn't make the self-imposed deadline of March 15th, but at the moment they are still planning to launch before the end of the month. Further progress updates will be posted here as they are available. A common mistake committed by most novice online businessmen is coming up with a product without determining a hungry market. Why is this dangerous? Very simple, if there is no demand for a product you cannot sell it and this is disastrous for any business.
