Logitech microphone and speakers

Ranked #6,554 in Computers & Electronics, #126,877 overall

Do you have a computer microphone and speakers for your upcoming webinar?

After attending several webinar and training sessions over the past few months, I have realized it would be so nice to be more hands-free - meaning not having to use my cell phone all the time to call in and listen to the sessions. Having the cell phone up to my face for about an hour to an hour and half can be very hot, runs my battery down and of course, fly through my minutes.

I have soon realized I need to get a microphone and while I was at it - lets get speakers to enhance my sound quality to hear things better. I am new to working at home, as of May 2009 and unsure of everything that is needed. I have since realized, buy as you need it and when you can afford it.

The future is what you make it..

And our future is full speed ahead - everything VIRTUALLY

Computers have always been a huge part of my everyday life since I reached Middle School. And going forward I can use computers for anything and everything.

I love that I am able to sit and create calendars to help with everyday tasks, newsletter to inform family and friends of changes happening in my children's life, and use the internet to communication on Facebook with family and friends when we can get connected with each other.

With this I have realized, I love having the additions on my laptop to help make the communication even more of a enjoyable experience. Having a microphone and speakers enhances the virtual experience as if everyone is sitting in your work at home office with you!

Logitech Computer Free Standing Speakers

- Black and perfect size!

To me - speakers are speakers. But love when they work and help me hear things better. Sometimes voices can be too loud, too soft and just right when you are listening to webinars, conference calls or training sessions. However when I am hearing someone and if I miss an important part - I would be devasted.

I have learned that I need to make sure everything is working before we get too far into the session. Luckily most host (or hostess) have realized this and everyone checks how their mics are working for hearing and speaking before going to far.

Do you have computer microphone and speakers yet? Or are you still debating between the black or silver set?

I like the headset that I am using now - except for the fact that it only has an 8 foot cord so now I'm checking around for a wireless one. However we do have some kinckin' speakers for the computer that rattles the floor when we turn up the videos.

Yeah, it sure is good to be hands-free, especially if you're a lot on webinars and conference calls which I do a lot. Currently I have a band new Toshiba Satellite laptop which comes with built-in mic and speakers, but I do also have a headset which I use from time to time. I use Skype if I'm attending a conference call where I need to dial in. I really like the Logitech products and have had a great experience with them. My headset is a Logitech.

I'm using the speakers that came with my Dell computer... but would like to replace them with something that attaches to the modem so they won't take up space on my desk. My microphone is an exact duplicate of yours!

Computer Microphone

StaciJansma says:

Walmart was we went to look at various options to make sure it would work with our laptop and to my luck I found a microphone that was Skype certified for under $9. It was $8.88 I have noticed that you cannot find this microphone online at walmart.com. So if you need a microphone stop at your local Walmart and see what they have available.
