Kinect for the Xbox 360 Console

Microsoft Kinect for Xbox 360 console is great for those families that love to play video games together. Not only is it great for families, but for the average gamer out there as well.

There are mixed reviews for this motion gaming experience without controllers, but just like any new technology that comes out, there is always going to be good and bad reviews.....no matter what!

This isn't any different than when the Nintendo Wii came out or PlaystationMove.

I'll be honest with you, I'm not sold on the fact that Microsoft Kinect is worth buying for the serious gamers! I can't see any benefits of using Kinect if your only going to play games like Halo, it just isn't there.

What Does Microsoft Kinect Do?

The big thing with the Microsoft Kinect for XBOX 360 is that you are the controller of the game and it gets your entire body into the game! You can also control music and movies with a wave of the hand or even your voice.

Microsoft Kinect ID will remember who you are by the physical data that is stored in your profile (obviously a profile needs to be created before hand). If your sitting there watching someone play, then you can join in and it will know who you are.

Microsoft Kinect uses microphones that are strategically placed within the sensor for it to recognize your voice, this enables you to control music and movies with your voice.

Another great thing that you can do is use the Microsoft Kinect with Xbox Live (12 month Gold) for chatting on your TV with Video Kinect!

Microsoft Kinect Compatibility

Microsoft Kinect for XBOX 360The great thing about the Microsoft Kinect add on to the XBOX 360 Console is that you don't have to purchase a new console.

I definitely like that because when many new technologies come out there's always "something else" you have to buy to get it to work.

Microsoft Kinect works with every XBOX 360 Console!

We've been having a lot of fun with this game. I never would have thought you could get a bit winded, but you can if you put your all into it. If your running, the higher your legs go the faster you run in the game. When you get one come back and share your experience, good or bad. Thanks for stopping by.....

Is Microsoft Kinect Right For You?

Kids Playing Microsoft KinectWell, it all depends on what type of gamer you are. As I stated above, I can't see serious gamers out there that only play games like Halo running out and purchasing the Microsoft Kinect for XBOX 360 Console. That's just my opinion....

I'm not trying to steer you away from buying the Microsoft Kinect, but in reality it's not for everyone! I myself will be purchasing it because my son and I love to play games together. He doesn't play games like Halo (even though he wants too), so this would be great for the two of us to really have a great time playing video games.

I been all over the Kinect since it was Natal. Seems like just yesterday it was June 16th and they called it the Kinect. I got one, but still in the box for christmas ! hope you are enjoying yours !

I really like the idea behind the Kinect for Xbox 360 console and it should be a blast to play certain Xbox games on it. But as you pointed out, I don't see (at least at this point) serious gamers jumping on the Kinect bandwagon. Then again it could be another Wii and really be a game changer. I'm going to adopt a "wait and see" attitude on it.
