ErrorSmart Registry Repair Software Review

Microsoft Registry Cleaner Reviews ErrorSmart - A Top Performer

ErrorSmart is a really nice piece of software. I liked this software for a number of reasons. What really impressed me about ErrorSmart is its user-friendly graphical interface. Unlike some registry cleaner utilities, you don't have to be a "rocket scientist" to use ErrorSmart. The interface being very easy to use is very user friendly

The forward and backward arrows make it easy to quickly go through the screens, a nice feature on the interface on the top left of the interface. I like its list of features that allow you to click on to go to that interface pane.

I like that there is a prominent home button so that you can get back to the main interface fast. It reminded me of web browser buttons. Very easy.

ErrorSmart has a very similar search algorithm and the resulting output is very similar to two other competitors, RegSweep and RegClean registry cleaners. All three give almost identical results. I don't know if they are all based on the same engine or they all just come up with similar results. The results interface graphics box is very similar to all three leading me to believe they are made by the same company, but just marketed under different names.

What comes to mind is similar automobile models that were made by Chevrolet and GMC. They had different names and slightly different looks but where essentially the same body. The same goes for ErrorSmart, RegSweep and RegClean.

All three are being promoted by the same company. I get the idea that they though they might be slightly different, they are essentially the same product marketed to different segments. RegSweep seems to be marketed to a high-end user, while RegClean and ErrorSmart are marketed to an economy minded computer user.

ErrorSmart more than delivers when it comes to registry cleaning. I believe that it is great product.

It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that its two counterparts have. But for a registry cleaner it does a very good job. The utilities area features a Browser Helper Object Manager, an Add and Remove Program Manager, a Start up Program Manager, and a Full Registry Backup Utility.

Because it has all these basic features, I feel ErrorSmart is a better buy then the other two.

Like many of the registry cleaning programs, ErrorSmart will perform an automatic backup of your scanned results before fixing the files. Again, this is a great help if it removes something that shouldn't have been removed. There is always away to correct a mistake.

One of ErrorSmart's main weaknesses is lack of documentation and help files. It does have a help button, but this just takes you to a basic document that will talk you through your first use of the product. There is no detailed information to be had. I was under the impression that the program assumes a user will figure out the program intuitively through its easy to use graphic interface. So, if you want step by step instructions, this is not the program for you.

After saying this, ErrorSmart provides a more than adequate registry scan and is a really good registry repair tool at a bargain price. It delivers a fast scan and does a very good job cleaning your registry and picking up the essential errors. So I give ErrorSmart a good recommendation for the job it does and its bargain price.
