Welcome to the Kiln Goddess' Clay Pit of Mid-Range Clays. It is a small and hopefully growing lens. If anyone has any links to any sites with mid-range clay recipes please suggest them in my guestbook because sadly I could hardly find any to post.

What is Mid-range Clays? 

Mid-range temperture mature around cone 4-7 (2160°F-2290°F). The clays at this temp. are usually refered to as mid-range stoneware & porcelain.
