Megatron: Leader of the Decepticons
A Look at Megatron
Megatron was created to lead the Decepticons to victory during the Cybertronian civil war. He was very powerful and ruthless. His alternate mode as a transformer was a very powerful gun. He would transform into a gun then another Decepticon could use him to take out any Autobot that resisted them. The Decepticon chosen to use him while transformed into a gun was usually Starscream.In the year 2005 Megatron launched an attack against the Autobot city on Earth where they were almost successful in defeating the Autobots and destroying the city. During the attack Megatron engaged Optimus Prime(leader of the Autobots) in battle. During the battle, Megatron was heavily damaged and Optimus Prime was killed.
Later on the return flight to Cybertron, Starscream took the opportunity to overthrow Megatron as leader of the Decepticons and threw him into space. But Megatron while drifting in space encountered a large planet eating transformer called Unicron. Unicron gave Megatron a new body and he became Galvatron.
