This page has been updated throughout Mike Huckabee's candidacy in the Republican presidential primary race. Mike Huckabee vowed to stay in the race, staying true to his supporters, until one single candidate received the required number of delegates to claim the win. Following the primaries of March 4, 2008, Senator John McCain topped that number and claimed the win, and Governor Huckabee dropped out.

Certainly Mike Huckabee has made a name for himself on the national scene and we can expect to hear from this fine man for some time.

Mike Huckabee - Musician

Mike is a man of many talents, including bass guitar player.

Mike's rock band, The Capitol Offense, has played at many venues, opening for such performers as Willie Nelson, the Charlie Daniels Band, Percy Sledge, and more. The band has played at numerous functions in Washington, D.C., including playing at celebrations of both of President Bill Clinton's inaugurations.

As you'll see and hear, Mike even finds time to jam with musicians, young and old, along the campaign trail. In his visits with student musicians, he talks about why studying music in school is a valuable life experience and why he supports music education in schools.

THE SUBJECT WAS THEN TRANSFER TO A DEPORTATION CENTER IN EL PASO, TEXAS. THE SUBJECT FILED FOR AN "IMIGRATION RELEASE" AND WAS RELEASE TO BE REUNITED WITH HIS ILLEGAL FAMILY IN MISSOURI, PENDING A DEPORTATION HEARING THAT NEVER TOOK PLACE.     I like Mike, the fair tax thing I am all about. The more I learn about the fair tax the more i want it to be. I think I have reached the age, (slow to come around) where I need to look into these things and research this and understand this. Thanks for your Lens, I am going to do just that.

    I had the opportunity to Meet and Chat with Mike, He is amazing. As for taxes, a consumption Tax is a FAIR Tax, and you are absolutely RIGHT! It reinstills the people with the Power. This Country was inhabited for Religious Believes but it was formed because of Taxation, Remember the "Boston Tea Party"? Do you remember why that took place? and what happened shortly after?     Thanks for the info! It's important to know the candidates and their stance on issues. I try to ignore party stereotypes, mantras, and labels assigned by the media and others. (not always easy to do!)
