To simply view what and who we are you just need to peak around the website. We offer a feeless website which makes it's money through donations and advertising. We encourage the stay at home moms, the business person, the person that is selling for their kid's college, the buyer looking for a great place to buy, the person that wants a community, and most of all you. No matter what brought you to MilBid, we want to welcome you to a place that is special.

There are 1000's of alternative auction sites. These are all people who figure they could buy a script, run a site, and line some pockets. Everything revolves around what they can get out of it all. It takes a special person and a special group pf people to come together and make something as serious as MilBid. Try to find something similiar...and let us know how the search went.

So what do we do? We send care packages to the troops through units writing us to tell us they need us, or we search out for units that could use a pick-me-up while being in places like Iraq. I know you may be wondering how we have the military connection in the first place. We are a group of active and retired military personnel that have many friends in some lonely places. We are veterans looking out for some great people. We also send profits to units that might not have funding for morale activities. Why should a unit be without because they served 8 months or more deployed and couldn't do fundraising for a Christmas party? The answer is they shouldn't. We won't allow it if we can help them.

We built MilBid with nothing and we are going to make this place a special place for people. We are dedicated in bringing something people have never dealt with before. There are not any auction sites on today's net with a mission like we have. We are some very proud people knowing we are doing one of the greatest things in the world!

Last night on NBC nightly news Adam Mulholland, owner of MilBId, US Challenge Coins and Challenge Coin Auctions was interviewed about the making, selling and collecting of Challenge Coins. Adam has turned a what was an important hobby to him in to a wonderful niche business and has created a great place for all who enjoy collecting and trading challenge coins to share their thoughts.
Adam also created an auction website that gives back to those he serves with MilBid. His vision for MilBid is a free marketplace for sellers to be able to pass on what they are saving in high fees onto their buyers and also support the mission of MIlBid. This past December 4 large care packages were sent to deployed personnel in Iraq, Sellers from MIlBid donated proceeds from their online sales to fund these care packages. MilBid will continue to support all our troops deployed here and abroad and with the growth of the site the ability to reach more people will continue to grow.
MilBid encourages all sellers of military memorabilia to check out the site as we continue to expand that category. It is also a great place if you are just a hobby seller as your business will grow as the site grows.
