Even if Miley's "embarrassed" after the fact (or is that Disney speaking?), I don't think she has any reason to be. It's a beautiful portrait by a world-renowned photographer. It's not sleazy, and I don't even find it suggestive.
Miley's becoming a beautiful young woman, and she's beginning to expand beyond the tweener fanbase that she dominates now. It's OK for her to grow up-- and I don't think there's anything here for Miley, or moms of tweeners, to be ashamed of. Overall assessment: Brilliant.
