The Miley (Cyrus) and Mandy YouTube Videos: Annoying or Entertaining?

Let me start by saying, that I like Miley Cyrus a.k.a. Hannah Montana and think she is very talented, however her latest YouTube venture with backup dancer and BFF Mandy Jiroux has to be the most annoying set of videos I have ever seen in my entire life! They are actually painful to watch. And, why is 15 year old Miley hanging out with 21 year old Mandy anyway? We'll, that's a whole other story.

When I first came across the Miley and Mandy videos, I honestly could not believe what I was watching. I really thought it was some people doing a hoax on Miley. No such luck.

In addition to the annoyance of these videos, I don't think they are appropriate for Miley's fan base which happen to mostly be under age 12 and very impressionable. I know she is now a teenager and is trying to rid of her "Disney persona", (the same way in which Ashley Tisdale is with her provocative music videos), but being a role model for young girls I think she should needs to be more careful as to what she puts out there. My girls are 7 & 10 and certainly would not want them watching these videos.

These Miley and Mandy videos are definately geared more towards the 13-18 age group as opposed to tween aged girls. Miley needs to remember it is the tween aged girls that have made her the superstar she is today and hopefully she does not alienate her fan base with this stupid videos. Maybe that is Miley's reason for filming these videos. Maybe she is she looking to obtain an older fan base of teenagers and leave her tweeny bopper Disney fans in the dust.

My only quesiton is this, "Miley, what the heck were you thinking?"
