To all Military Brats

Every military dependent I've ever known has referred to themselves, quite proudly, as Army brats, Air Force Brats, or Navy Brats. Quite a lot of them later joined themselves, and when you asked them where they were from, they'd always say, " I was born in ___ but I was an Army brat and moved around a lot."Anyone outside of the military, it's an insult, but within the military family, it's a term of endearment and a title I wear proudly!

ALL Military members and of course America Happy 4th Of July!

Military Brat Poem & Our Flower

I Am A Military Brat

My hometown is nowhere, my friends are everywhere.
I grew up with the knowledge that home is where the heart is and the family....

Mobility is my way of life. Some would wonder about roots, yet they are as deep and strong as the mighty oak. I sink them quickly, absorbing all an area offers and hopefully, giving enrichment in return.

Travel has taught me to be open.Shaking hands with the universe, I find brotherhood in all men.Farewells are never easy.Yet, even in sorrow comes strength and ability to face tomorrow with anticipation....if when we leave one place,I feel that half my world is left behind. I also know that the other half is waiting to be met.

Friendships are formed in hours and kept for decades.I will never grow up with someone, but I will mature with many.Be it inevitable that paths part, there is constant hope that they will meet again.

Love of country, respect and pride fill my being when Old Glory passes in review. When I stand to honor that flag, so also do I stand in honor of all soldiers, and most especially, to the parents whose life created mine Because of this, I have shared in the rich heritage of Military life.

Product Description
How did we arrive where we are now: American society dominated by corporations and their interests, an economy based on war and the weapons industry, trillions of dollars missing from federal government agencies, the annihilation of our civil liberties and the shredding of the U.S. Constitution, the dumbing-down of America and the reduction of our educational system to the lowest common denominator, Peak Oil-the best-kept secret in America, and the polarization of economic prosperity and quality of life?

I grew up in one house but married a man in the navy. We moved some but settled before my children were old enough to care. We moved once (2 miles down the road). My kids acted like we were moving to moon. They never would have handled moving every few years.

What an interesting lens. Sometimes we forget about the families of military personnel and how much they have to move around.

Every time when I look in the mirror
All these lines on my face getting clearer
The past is gone
it went by, like dusk to dawn
Isn't that the way
Everybody's got the dues in life to pay

I know nobody knows
where it comes and where it goes
I know it's everybody sin
You got to lose to know how to win

Half my life
is books written pages
live and love from fools and
from sages
You know it's true,OH
All these things come back to you

Sing with me, sing for the years
Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears
Sing with me, just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good lord will take you away

Yeah, sing with me, sing for the year
sing for the laughter, sing for the tear
sing with me, just for today
Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away
